I am, once again, woefully behind schedule here. I have read many books — so far, all by women — in 2012, and will give you all my thoughts on them soon. But for now, I wanted to share a review I wrote for The Nervous Breakdown of Amy Monticello‘s first essay chapbook, Close Quarters.
Amy and I know each other from college, so when I decided to review her book, I pitched the idea that we play on the famed TNB self-interview by doing a reverse interview, from writer to reader. So, Amy asked me questions about Close Quarters, which I answered essay-style in my latest TNB piece, “You Will Never Know: A Review of Amy Monticello’s Close Quarters.”
Read & enjoy — and then make sure to purchase Amy’s book, hand-bound (!!!) from Sweet Publications!
